Dave Bechtel is a Nashville based producer/engineer. Dave has produced well over 100 full length albums and countless number of EPs and singles for a wide variety of artists from the singer who has never stepped in front of a microphone to world famous musicians. Well versed in many genres of music Dave has a passion for “real players, playing real instruments”. Whether an artist is looking to create an intimate and spontaneous project that is captured in “one take” or a large scale production that involves 100′s of instrumentalists, singers, composers and arrangers, Dave can walk you through the process and deliver a unique work that delivers your artistic vision.
Jim began his career as an Professional Entertainer performing as an Elvis Tribute Artist starting In 1974 and that took him from the Clubs and Stages from one end of the U.S. to the other and to the bright lights of Las Vegas and different parts of the Globe.
He began making contacts In the Late 70′s in Nashville working towards becoming a Country Recording Artist with his new Friend/Producer/Mentor Johnny Dollar. Little did Jim know that Johnny was grooming him to take over the reins of his own company as he discovered he was dying of Cancer. At Johnny’s request he had Jim change the name of the company to the name Jim had on his own In Oklahoma… Fame & Fortune Entertainment, Johnny Liked that name. After Johnny’s death… Another friend of Johnny’s entered the picture The Legendary Scotty Turner. Scotty Mentored Jim and made him a Partner in his Publishing Companies… and today Jim and Scotty’s son Trevor are operating the Scott Turner Companies together.
Jim was also mentored by Legendary Nashville Producers Harold Shedd and the Gospel Legend Martha Carson. Jim is fastly approaching his 40th year In the Music Industry in helping New Artists and Songwriters get a Firm Foothold Into the Music Business
with his Production Company Fame & Fortune Entertainment.
