How much does it cost?

Answer: At Playground Recording we don’t believe in putting your project in to a package type deal. We feel that every artist and project is unique and should be treated that way. Most people when offering package deals, tell you what the instrumentation will be. Well not every project needs the same instrumentation. We work within your set budget to create a unique album with the instrumentation that you and the producer feel would add to the songs and the album.

What is the Process?

Answer: After our initial phone call, we will connect you with a producer who will listen to your music and talk with you about your goals and vision for your album. From there the producer will hire studio musicians, engineers and work with us on the schedule of your project. We can then help you connect with Graphic Designers, who can create your album artwork, website and any other marketing tools you may need. If needed we can even connect you with a mastering and duplication company to complete your album project. Our goal is to help you through the process step by step and make this a no hassle experience.

Can Playground Recording get me on the radio or a record deal?

Short answer is no! We can help connect you with people who understand those markets much better then us and can be a better resource to you. What we do is make sure that the end product you come away with is the best possible and competitive with major label releases today.

Can Playground Recording help me find songs?

Answer: Absolutely! We have countless of relationships with songwriters in every style of music that can help you co-write songs or you can pick choose songs that they have written and pay the mechanical licenses to record their songs.

If I write my own songs and record with you, do I still own my songs?

Answer: Absolutely! If anyone EVER says by recording with them you give them the rights to your songs, RUN! Your songs are your creations and we don’t take any ownership in them. We only help you with the production and the recording of your songs and make them marketable.

Where do we stay if we are from out of town?

Answer: Playground Recording is located just a few short miles away from Downtown Nashville and close to many great hotel options. We have also made arrangements with a few of the hotels to offer our clients a discounted rate.
