Nichols released a new single, “Believers”, to radio on March 27, 2009.[6] Written by Ashley Gorley, Wade Kirby and Bill Luther, it is the first single from his sixth album entitled Old Things New. The song reached the Top 30 on the country singles chart. The album’s second single is “Gimmie That Girl,” which reached Number One on the country charts in May 2010.
The follow-up single to his previous number one is “The Shape I’m In.” It was shipped to radio July 2010.
